“We have raised the bar.” – A strong personality in a little cube.
Sanremo Coffee Machines are proud to present and introduce the revolutionary SANREMO CUBE, a new semi-professional one-group model. Offering a great choice for domestic use and branding for the professional market, the CUBE follows in the footprints of the iconic Cafe Racer with the endless possibilities for colours and customizations. The CUBE is an object of desire, advanced technology, and minimal design in the “Sanremo Lifestyle” tradition. The new colour palette and particular design of the side panels are the most original design on the market. This design was studied to combine compact size with easy cleaning, simple maintenance, and top-tier features and quality.
Design and technology are combined in many different ways, and in its simplicity the CUBE allows replicating the beloved bar espresso or cappuccino with perfect emulsion anywhere that you are, whether it be at your home, office, shop, or anywhere in between.
Within the CUBE scope are two technological divisions – the CUBE and CUBE R versions. While both models maintain the same attractive design, the CUBE R differs in the presence of a positive displacement pump that allows direct connection to the water mains in addition to the possibility of using the integrate water tank. This technology is also reflected in the user display which, in the R model, allows keeping several parameters under control, such as the temperature and extraction times.
Within the CUBE and CUBE R technological variants, each model is offered in three different body styles to further ensure that your CUBE fits into any environment. Models Absolute (A) and Bicolour (B) are available in a wide range of standard or special colours, and the Custom (C) version is available in exclusive editions or customizable to your heart’s extent.
A for ABSOLUTE
CUBE ABSOLUTE is the simplest and most minimal solution to curing your coffee needs. This machine is suitable for a domestic customer. The cover panels are in a single colour, and the side panels are in a single piece.
B for BICOLOUR
CUBE BICOLOUR allows for colour variations and the personalization of the central panel with special colours and/or your own logo or pattern. This is thanks to the side panels that are made in two pieces, and perforated to show the underlying sheet that can be customized.
C for CUSTOM
CUBE CUSTOM is the machine dedicated to fans of the Sanremo style who wish to have a unique and highly-personalized product that can be in harmony with their tastes and with the surrounding environment. This model is available in exclusive editions, or in special designs and colours upon request. Special coatings come on both the side panels and other elements such as the portafilter handle. This is your opportunity to look outside of the box and create a true one-of-a-kind machine for yourself.
ALL IN AN APP
The CUBE Web App allows you to connect to your coffee machine like never before, with easy interaction and function control from the convenience of your mobile device.
Different connection modes are available with mobile, tablet, and PC.
The CUBE is on the way and is a long-awaited and long-needed addition to the Sanremo line of espresso machines. The official debut of the SANREMO CUBE will be at GulFood trade show in Dubai, beginning on February 21, 2021, where the prototype CUBE will be presented in absolute preview.

Fun facts about the competition
- The Sanremo Cafe Racer is a machine-building for accuracy and to make coffee taste different. With the Cafe Racer, a barista can adjust temperature, pressure or pre-infusion. But in competition, the machine is running in a very basic setting.
- In competition, the barista has 15 minutes to make 12 drinks distributed in 3 courses. Well, making the drinks they have to present the coffee to the judges by rehearsing a scripted story. This competition requires barista skills, memory skills all combined in a theatrical act. The presentation is in front of 7 judges.
- The Western qualifiers are actually the 2nd Canadian qualifier. Baristas in Canada from coast to coast can take part. So this is not a Western Qualifier but a qualifier.
- Calgary has 7 competitors out of 16.
- In the competition, you can only use cow milk. Even vegan competitors can not use alternative milks. If they do the drink will not be judged and the competitor will lose the points. In the 2019 season, a competitor made the point that alternative milk can taste like cow milk. He presented to the end where he then disclosed the secretive ingredient!
How one dream led to another dream and became the way of life
Where, who and what?
At Sanremo Coffee Machines Canada, Eugenio Adiletta built from the grounds up what he describes as the roots of coffee technician culture. It all started with the quest to find out why does he do what he does. It’s easy to say what you do when you’re just selling something and it’s easy to just sell something by giving a random value, especially a low one. But that’s not what he wanted to do. The value of something does not only come from the cutting edge technology and provoking lines like the Sanremo machines have, but also from the soul, you give what you sell.
What is the value of a coffee maker?
The value to the owner/barista buying the machines in Canada is from what they want to learn. That’s from where he started searching for the real reason he was doing what he was doing and found the “Why”. The base of the ideology is the believe in developing and establishing relationships with customers and suppliers by sharing, giving and inspiring with consistent service and support.
Where did Eugenio go from there?
All this brought Eugenio to share his passion of the technical knowledge of machines to everyone and anyone. The more he built on this, the more he moved into the Specialty Coffee territory. By sharing with people his knowledge of machines, they would share their coffee knowledge.
What made the change?
After taking coffee classes in barista, brewing, roasting, sensory and green coffee, he understood the importance of how all these disciplines interacted with each other and he started creating a Coffee Tech curriculum to certify people from baristas backgrounds to become Pro-Baristas for Sanremo Canada, from professional technicians to become Sanremo Canada trained technicians. Equipping the technicians with a solid knowledge of coffee means they wouldn’t just be changing parts on machines but they would be helping machine owners bring their coffee to next level.
How is the change going to effect down the coffee chain?
All this creates a network to help the most people possible to do better in their cafes so they can have the possibility to offer better coffee at better value, just like the machines. His contribution to the industry is to reach the coffee growers, by helping the baristas do more with what they have so more coffees are being sold and the farmers are earning more because better beans are being purchased to achieve better taste profiles.
